The law of attraction

As I've been reading The Secret recently, many thoughts came to me. Also, I've been reflecting on my past and how I get to where I am today.

To put "The Secret" in psychological term, it is positive thinking and selective attention.
We should focus on what we want, what makes us happy, and on what's good for us.
If we set our mind to look for the good/ positive things, when we encounter good things we recognise it, which makes us happy. It also gives us a sense of empowerment.

Happiness is just like that- it comes from within, not from outside.
Just as what Buddha had said:
There's no way to happiness, happiness is the way.

Are you feeling happy? If not, a truthful advise- BE happy.
We all have a choice, and the decision to be happy is really up to our own choice.

although I've not read The Secret - which may probably come as a surprise knowing how I'm into all things metaphysical - I can see how 'the law of attraction works'. I mean, you will definitely have a much higher chance of achieving what you want if you keep an open and positive mentality rite?! If you're moaning and groaning all the time about how the world has let you down, and how you're a victim of circumstance, then you won't be as motivated to improve your situation yea? I've always been a believer of self-motivation. I truly believe that if you want something BAD enough then you'll be motivated enough to WORK HARD for it! It's worked for me, so it'll work for anyone! I totally agree with you - if you ain't happy with your life now, then get your ass up and go after the life that WILL!

Oh, almost forgot, The Magician is one of my favourite tarot cards - it stands for 'making things happen' and 'shaping one's destiny'! :D

Magician is also definitely one of my favourite cards from Tarot. :) It's full of hope, potential and power.
